WHAT IT IS
A high-capacity dual-tank whole-house carbon filtration system featuring two 10 x 54 carbon filter tanks and a total of 4 cubic ft. of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC). It is designed for residential municipal water supplies treated with free chlorine.
The GAC media provides broad adsorption capabilities to help improve taste and odor while supporting treatment of chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), disinfection byproducts (DBPs) including trihalomethanes (THMs) and haloacetic acids (HAAs), certain pesticides and herbicides, selected organic chemicals and solvents, certain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and PFAS-related compounds including PFOA and PFOS.
The two GAC tanks operate in series, providing greater media capacity and an additional treatment stage that helps reduce contaminant breakthrough when the system is properly maintained. The dual-tank configuration and 4 cubic ft. of total media provide expanded media capacity and two-stage series treatment for residential applications.
